UnecoLserv is dedicated to the broad general practice of law, with special expertise in Corporate Advisory, Legislation & Case Law Updates, etc. UnecoLserv advises both newly formed and established businesses in all matters, including compliances, commercial contract negotiations, regulatory assessment, etc. The firm is dedicated to providing professional advice and quality service to assist clients in business development decisions and strategic planning.

On inquiring from where did the idea to start something like “UnecoLserv” came from and requesting her to tell us about her background and her journey as an entrepreneur, Ms.Soumita Sinha apprised that;

I formed UnecoLserv for my passion to mitigate legal risks and then started developing my skills in the same field.

In order to get this streamlined from the start, I did my bachelor’s degree in Law from one of the most reputed Universities in India.

This along with my extensive experience in litigation & Corporate practice made me get into the world of Legal service to gain the best experiences in this field and learn the state of the art of providing the best legal service to corporates.

On inquiring, why has she chosen to become an entrepreneur over a job? Ms. Soumita replied that;

By choosing entrepreneurship over a corporate career, I wanted the ultimate freedom to use my time as I please while I’m young, not tied to a working routine that is constraining my other desires and pursuits. I learned a lot of practical skills to do the work I did. How to work with different types of people. Most importantly, I have realized over time that a corporate career will not make me happy. Entrepreneurship is definitely not for everyone. I think that entrepreneurship is a mindset. Sure, you can learn a set of practical skills and acquire some knowledge of how to do it. But it takes lots of personal traits and character to execute business ideas in challenging environments.

What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?

To paraphrase George Bernard Shaw, a new business is like a new love affair: Any fool can start one, but it takes a genius to end one successfully. For me, the key driving force to become an entrepreneur is the drive for results. I look up to successful entrepreneurs who inspire me, they too are my key driving force to make me a reckoned entrepreneur.

On inquiring, how many hours normally a day you work on average? She replied that;

You see being an entrepreneur and a mother you need to struggle hard to find appropriate working hours but normally I am working almost 8-10 hours minimum to take forward the venture at new heights.

Please tell us the uniqueness of your company “UnecoLserv”?

To make it a one-of-a-kind firm, we are dedicated to being fantastic communicators with our clients. Focused on each client’s unique situation and goals, we provide personal attention and open communication with each one of them.

How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?

I would say, normally I don't feel any pressure and if somehow comes on my way I try to read as much as possible and to reduce it I discuss with my team to handle and manage stress.

How do you generate new ideas?

I have unique ways to generate new ideas for myself. I get something in my mind while I am on some client visits and moves in search of understanding the market and consumer needs.

What piece of advice would you give to college graduates who want to become entrepreneurs?

Some things that have helped me and I would like to share with the college graduates who wanted to become entrepreneurs is that:

  1. Never give up on your dreams and keep moving forward to chase your dreams.

  2. Educate yourself: Gather as much information as you can, so when you step out into the “real world”, you’ll have the knowledge to sustain yourself in the competitive environment.

  3. Network a lot: Chalk out time to network with those who are around you. The good company will have a good influence on you and you may find that you learn more about yourself and your aspirations through this.
