On inquiring from Ms.Aarti Ahuja about the idea to start something like this and her journey as a womenpreneur, she apprised that;

As per my qualification and skills, I trained myself as a Psychologist from Amity University because, to help people was my goal since I was a kid. My schooling at Modern School Barakhamba Road and my strong family background in medicine helped me engage my organizational and public relations skills for conducting and creating events for as long as I can remember.Young children are encouraged to play in different ways and my play as a single child was being around my father Dr Rajeev B Ahuja who at that point was acing the academic and research ladder of Plastic Surgery and Burns globally, all the national and international meetings did leave an impact on me. Combining my passion and purpose with a strong support from my family and my company's Co Founder ( who likes to keep a low profile ) , the journey of Glow Entertainment began with a learning curve of trying to organize a Wellness Festival in 2017. Though the Wellness Festival didn't see the light of day but embedded my resolve to let event/marketing curation and creation be my Ikagai!

On requesting her, Why did she choose entrepreneurship over a job?

My schooling at Modern School and home environment inculcated a fierce, independence and accountable exercising of choice as a way of living with encouraging a creative spiritually advanced spirit and quite early on I decided to create a living for myself. So entrepreneurial spirit was an outcome of my upbringing and foremost goal of creating happiness for people.

Ms.Aarti Ahuja explained to the question of How she found the industry/niche that she is in?

I look at myself as a Lifestyle Consultant , while my role as a counsellor encourages individuals to help reach their best potential , my events and marketing consultant that let's me take the best created by others and re package it for a larger inspiration. Having worked with electronic music producers, Djs and young brands , I fully have come to appreciate Albert Einstein's reflection of creativity is intelligence having fun.

What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e. what’s your source of motivation?

My spiritual and moral source of inspiration foremost are paternal grandparents (Dadu & Dadi ) along with my parents and the multicultural global extended family. The other Individual who initiates positivity and determination to turn every obstacle into victory is my company's Co Founder who is the reason behind the Glow of my skills.

​On inquiring from Ms. Aarti Ahuja about the challenges/obstacles she faced in her journey so far, She explains that;

The challenges are primarily business ethics and values that are pushed again and again to the brink. Our socio cultural and deep rooted conditioned patriarchal thinking makes it difficult to be a pro choice woman in the business. Being paid for skills that give tangible results is something that our system is learning to accept. My skills might be acquired over 10 years of experience but my ability to put them to use within 30 minutes is what I demand the cost for. Time and it's effective skill based learning oriented use is the challenge that I am determined every time to overcome.

On inquiring about the uniqueness of her startup Glow Entertainment, Ms. Aarti Ahuja explained that;

Company’s Introduction - Glow Entertainment is a boutique events and entertainment company providing a bouquet of services from artist management to complete solutions for business development like marketing advertising and branding needs. We value our relationship with the client and serve the best possible service within the client's budget. Our belief is to help people build their dreams and actualise their vision as a glowing reality. The Co Founder's vision and mission is while communication is the key to success, community is the key to continuity! That is what makes Glow Entertainment unique as we actualise the magical potential within reality. The sub verticals are:-

2. Glow Media & Communications

Other ventures we have undertaken taken are;-

1. Whose In Town ( A music based event IP amalgamating fashion and arts as well )

2. Badhaiyaan Sweets ( Promoting Indian Sweets /Ladoos and Fusion Modern Indian Catering )

"During the lockdown we have created a new platform for poetry and performance arts enthusiasts on Facebook called Poetry & Other Things."

When stress persists, it can take a toll on your health and well-being. On inquiring from Ms Aarti Ahuja that How she handles the pressure and manages stress, She explains us that;

Being brought up in an unique spiritual and forward thinking world religion oriented mindset along my training as a Psychologist made me churn myself through a process of self respecting resilience to create happiness within me constantly.I focus on balancing my mind body and soul through meditation and exercising. As everyone is challenged by external forces in life when anxiety and stress befriend you for a while, in such a scenario in 2017 my Co Founder introduced me to Buddhism and in the past 3 years Buddhism has helped me get back to my innate spirituality!

What is one strategy that you believe has helped you grow as a women/startup?

A strategy that has stayed with me and now a combined vision and mission is " Communication is the key while involving community is continuity" Also persistence and patience through every project big or small with the end goal of actualizing magic in reality is my strategy.

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

The key to success is the growth within the 3As that evolved from my counseling practice of being Aware ( mind body soul ), Adaptable ( incorporating different thought ideas and beliefs ) & Adopt ( new skills and experiences to build the knowledge ). I have learnt that the momentum of life is learning, experiencing and expressing!

On inquiring about, what advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring entrepreneur? She said that;​

Have a structural, financial and services providing framework but beyond that be open to life because learning happens over living life. Be realistic and self aware of your skills and abilities , take help , approach your work and life as compassionately as you can because by being self respecting we are able to stand with others ahead in the race at an equal footing of being a human being first!
