Founder's Message Jyoti Kapoor Every effort is being made here as VictoryTales Team to inspire our readers by inculcating the essence of Inspirational moments to encourage moving forward in their life as well as in their career. For keeping the momentum of inspiration in the future too, I am remembering a very interesting story of a little boy and would like to share with our valued viewers. As I am sure, most of us must have listened from our ancestors in their life that “Do not say something you regret out of Anger”. Once upon a time there once was a little boy who had a very bad temper and normally lose temper in small issues. His father decided to hand him a bag of iron nails and convinced his son that every time you lost temper, you take one iron nail from the bag and hammer a nail into the outer fence of their house. On the very first day, the boy hammered 48 nails into that fence. Every time he loose patience he has to get one nail from the bag and to go out of home to nail into the outer fence of his house. The boy gradually began to control his temper over the next few weeks, and the number of nails he was hammering into the fence slowly decreased. He then discovered it was easier to control his temper than to go out of home up to the fence and hammer those nails into the fence. Finally, the day came when the boy did not lose his temper at all. He told his father the news and the father suggested that he should now pull out a nail every day to keep his temper under control. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. The father said well done, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there.'” As VictoryTales achieved its first milestone, the editorial team would like to thank our many reviewers who helped us to maintain the standard; and, most importantly, our readers for your continuing support. We look forward to receiving your contributions in the near future. “The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” —Mark Twain. With our continuous efforts to capture the fascinated attention of our audience, we here as VictoryTales team adding another milestone of the inspiring story here in most popular Inspirational portal to encourage you to follow your dreams so that you can treat others with kindness and never give up. For keeping the momentum of inspiration we would like to discuss a very common quote, “Never let one failure from the past hold you back in the future”. As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at any time, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not. He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to getaway. ‘Well,’ trainer said, ‘when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.’ The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were. An unsuccessful attempt is the first step of success similarly you should Never let one failure from the past hold you back in the future and one should apply all efforts to achieve success in life. As VictoryTales achieved another milestone, we would like to thank our many reviewers who helped us to maintain the standard; and, most importantly, our readers for your continuing support.

- Our Vision | VictoryTales - An Online Inspirational Portal
Vision of VictoryTales Our Vision We Cover the most inspiring stories around the world VictoryTales derives its definition from the humble word “Inspiration” which in its figurative sense appears to predate its literal one. As the word “Inspiration” is the past participle of inspiration. Similarly, we as VictoryTales is an online portal that publishes the finest content around Personal development, Success Mantras, Interviews, Startup Stories, and about the Entrepreneurship to inspire the world. We often overlook the important role of inspiration whereas it awakens us to better possibilities by allowing us to transcend our experiences and limitations. If we believe, Inspiration pushes us from apathy to possibilities and transforms the way we perceive our capabilities. We believe that Inspiration is an elusive nature which we normally overlooked in life and the frequency with which a person experiences inspiration in their daily lives. It is also believed that inspired people were more open to new experiences and reported more absorption in their tasks. “Openness to Experience” often came before inspiration, suggesting that those who are more open to inspiration are more likely to experience it. It is also believed that human being has a capacity to capture and activate inspiration and it has major effects on important outcomes in one's life. We believe that there are four main Ingredients of Inspiration: Inspiration involves both being inspired by something and acting on that inspiration. Inspiration involves a moment of clarity and awareness of new possibilities. Inspiration springs from the beauty and goodness that precede us and awaken us for better possibilities. Inspiration is evoked spontaneously without intention.

To know more about what SkillMaker Consultancy does, plug into www.theskillmaker.com We are a success-driven family - my father Dr. Sudhir Andrews D.Lit. has empowered me as a Woman Entrepreneur and my mother Roma Andrews opened a few doors for me as the Former Executive Director for a Conglomerate Business in UAE, the Al Habtoor Group. To that extent, we are all self-made. Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job? An entrepreneur has the possibility of accepting and rejecting assignments. Entrepreneurs should be able to discern between the two. An Entrepreneur is one that backs an idea with Innovation and concrete Leadership. Just like I back The Rakshin Project by Sakshi which is a Youth-Led Movement to Stop Child Sexual Abuse. The innovation I bring to this assignment is my expertise in SHRM, Operations, Leadership and, Learning, and Development. To know more you can plug into therakshinproject.org What’s your source of motivation? My passion for making me the best version of myself. As a Global Thought Leader once said to me, "It isn't whom you marry that matters, what matters is making 'you' the best version of yourself". This is a source of inspiration, not just motivation. Along with my passion for developing people, while an Entrepreneur is selfless to the degree that they can support the larger picture that can bring change to the Nation and to the Globe. What challenges/obstacles did you face in your journey so far? I wouldn't call it an obstacle, but yes, a challenge I made friends with. Having Bipolar Disorder has been the biggest challenge I overcame. Thanks to the experts and the forces that helped me learn how to swim in the deep end. Those forces were many, in my profession and in my personal life. What comes first for you - money or emotions? This is an easy question, I know this pat on my lips. Emotion comes first for me, precisely what makes the business a Value-Based Organization. Money follows passion and not the other way around. How do you handle the pressure and manage stress? Stress is okay, but distress isn’t. I am a lot like a pressure cooker, as we all are when the pressure does surmount, the whistle blows. That's when I need to cool down and enjoy the food for thought. How do you handle the pressure and manage stress? There have been a lot of struggles that I had to face while turning into an Entrepreneur running a business for 6 years now. 4 years in UAE and 2 years in India. I would title it 'Transformational Leadership'. This is the conversion of struggles into success opportunities and this is an authentic way for any business, translating an Entrepreneurs vision to reality. In your opinion what are the keys to success? To qualify oneself as successful the 3 doors they must open to begin their success story are: The door of struggles The door of innovation through it The door is the best way to position the result of this in one’s life. Success is not a Bed of Rose's. It is a Path of Thorns. The fact is everyone can walk down that road. On enquiring from Ms. Anchal Andrews about what advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring entrepreneur, She explained that one should believe in himself. She is the world's first licensed armless pilot, as well as the first armless black-belt in the American Taekwondo Association. Jessica Cox graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in communications. Cox has not used prosthetic arms since she turned 14. Using her feet as most people use their hands, she is able, among other things, to drive an unmodified car with an unrestricted license, to type on a keyboard at 25 words per minute, to pump her own gas, and to put in and remove her contact lenses. She is also a certified scuba diver. At the age of 10, Cox began training in taekwondo at a school in her hometown of Sierra Vista. At the age of 14, she earned her first black belt. While in college at the University of Arizona Cox restarted her taekwondo training at an American Taekwondo Association club on campus. In an effort to help future students without the use of arms the instructors created an entire training curriculum by modifying the standard material from the ATA. For example, instead of a punch Cox executes a knee strike.Cox has since gone on to earn her second and third degree black belts in the ATA. Cox has also earned the title of 2014 Arizona State Champion in forms. She did not compete in a special abilities ring. Jessica Cox flew in a single-engine airplane for the first time via Wright Flight in 2004. Jessica earned her pilot's certificate on October 10, 2008, after three years of training, and is qualified to fly a light-sport aircraft to altitudes of 10,000 feet. She received her flight training through an Able Flight scholarship and soloed under the instruction of Parrish Traweek. Cox's Sport Pilot Certificate is for an ERCO 415-C Ercoupe which the Federal Aviation Administration has designated a light-sport aircraft. Designed in the 1940s, the Ercoupe was built without rudder pedals. "We feel Jessica Cox an inspiration VictoryTale and wishes her a grand success" Sergey Brin We are sure that most of us know about Mr. Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin who is an American software engineer and Internet entrepreneur. He co-founded Google with Larry Page. Popularly known as Sergey Brin, was the president of Google's parent company Alphabet Inc, until stepping down from the role in Dec 2019. We as VictoryTales believe that Brin is truly InspiringTale for all of us. Degree in philosophy Brin immigrated to the United States with his family from the Soviet Union at the age of six. He earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Maryland, College Park, following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps by studying mathematics, as well as computer science. After graduation, he enrolled at Stanford University to acquire a PhD in computer science. There he met Page, with whom he built a web search engine. The program became popular at Stanford, and they suspended their PhD studies to start up Google in Susan Wojcicki's garage in Menlo Park. Brin’s father is a retired mathematics professor at the University of Maryland, and his mother a researcher at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. The Brin family lived in a three-room apartment in central Moscow, which they also shared with Sergey's paternal grandmother. In 1977, after his father returned from a mathematics conference in Warsaw, Poland, Mikhail Brin announced that it was time for the family to emigrate. It is believed that Brin is working on other, more personal projects that reach beyond Google. For example, he and Page are trying to help solve the world's energy and climate problems at Google's philanthropic arm, Google.org, which invests in the alternative energy industry to find wider sources of renewable energy. The company acknowledges that its founders want "to solve really big problems using technology". "We feel Sergey Mikhaylovich Brinis an inspiration VictoryTale and wishes him a grand success" Sara Treleaven Blakely An American businesswoman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is the founder of Spanx, an American intimate apparel company with pants and leggings, founded in Atlanta, Georgia. She was listed as the 93rd most powerful woman in the world by Forbes. Blakely was born in Clearwater, Florida, and graduated from Florida State Univerity with a communication Degree. She is the daughter of Ellen, an artist, and trial attorney, John Blakely. Being the daughter of a trial attorney, she initially planned to become an attorney, she reconsidered after scoring very low on the Law School Admission Test; she instead accepted a job at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where she worked for three months. She also occasionally worked as a stand-up comedian during this period. After her short stint at Disney, Blakely accepted a job with office supply company Danka, where she sold fax machines door-to-door. She was quite successful in sales and was promoted to national sales trainer at the age of 25. At the age of 27, Blakely relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, and while still working at Danka, spent the next two years and $5,000 savings researching and developing her hosiery idea. Blakely then drove to North Carolina, the location of most of America's hosiery mills, to present her idea. She was turned away by every representative; these companies were used to dealing with established companies and did not see the value of her idea. Two weeks after arriving home from her North Carolina trip, Blakely received a call from a male mill operator based in Asheboro, North Carolina, who offered to support Blakely's concept, as he had received strong encouragement from his three daughters. Blakely further explained that the experience of developing her idea also revealed to her that the hosiery manufacturing industry was overseen solely by men who were not using the products they were producing. Blakely launched the “Sara Blakely Foundation” to help women through education and entrepreneurial training—Blakely had considered the establishment of a non-profit foundation prior to the founding of “Spanx”.
