The DevOps CI/CD Engineer possesses extensive hands-on experience in automation, C.I/C.D pipelines, following best security practices, and web application development/operation. Aside of having knowledge and experience from a broad range of fields, the DevOps CI/CD Engineer is expected to be able to dive in deep to resolve issues that cannot get straight answer from google searches. Maintaining all Tools needed to provide a full scope of C.I/C.D pipelines as well as supporting Engineer Teams and Local Hardware-Infrastructure. Furthermore, we expect the Sr. DevOps CI/CD Engineer to take the leading role in improving our C.I/C.D pipelines with the latest state of the Art technologies by introducing new tools, technologies, and processes to further move our business to a Cloud-Native C.I/C.D approach.
Required Skill Set
Must-Have: Kubernates + AWS /GCP.
Nice to Have: Ansible, Jenkins, HELM
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in web-based application development.
Extensive knowledge in C.I / C.D Tools like Jenkins and other build Tools
Fluent knowledge of SCM tools like GIT and Artifact Management
Fluent in Linux- and Windows Environment
Fluent in Python and Linux Shell Script. Experience with Gradle, GnuMake / CMake is desirable.
Fluent in Server hardware support, to be able to work with Hardware Vendors to resolve outages.
Strong attention to detail, sense of ownership, and technical leadership skills necessary to drive technical and business problems to closure across organizational boundaries.
Hands-on experience with Vmware Vcenter, Docker/Kubernetes, Packer
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills necessary to work remotely as part of a global team.
Previous experience successfully and happily working as part of a remote or distributed team will be highly appreciated.
Ability to demonstrate solid skills in GCP, Kubernetes, Unix/Linux programming
Ability to demonstrate knowledge about Cluster, Cloud/VM based solution deployment, and management, including knowledge about networking, servers and storages.
Must have completed minimum one project end-to-end in a technical DevOps role, preferably in a global organization.
Practical understanding of Ansible, DataDog, Docker, Kafka, Keycloak and implementation of the solutions based upon these tools is preferred.
Working closely with engineering teams to support them on all C.I/C.D related Topics
Writing automations and build pipelines.
Integrating various systems, into one precise, robust platform
Administration and configuration of all C.I/C.D Tools and the Build Tools
Driving project till completion, in an agile development environment
Ability to handle escalations
Proven ability to learn and apply new skills and processes quickly and train others in team.
Demonstrated experience as individual contributor with customer focus and service orientation with solid leadership and coaching skills.
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with customers, third-party vendors and partners.
Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as JIRA and Confluence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
